The uC-68HC12-KIT03 training & development system is widely used as a training tool to teach basic introductory level up to the advanced application level of microcontroller technology. It is based on the Freescale HCS12/9S12 microcontroller. it an ideal training system for teaching microcontroller theory and principles to user from the electronics sector at all levels. This board features USB port to communicate with the host computer system.
• System housed in a robust metal case with latching cover • Power-On LED indicators for 5V and 3.3V • Operate will a computer set via USB port. Computer runs under Windows • Incorporated latest 68HC12 device family MC9S12DG256 microcontroller (MCU includes 3 x SPIs, 2 x SCIs, 2 x CANs, I2C interface, 8 x 16-bit timers, 8 x PWMs and16-channel 10-bit A/D converter) • 25 MHz max. bus speed operation • Accessible MCU I/O lines and control lines on board for expansion purposes • Built-in headers sockets to access I/O pins • Backward compatible to 68HC11 and 68HC12 code • BDM-in connector ready for debugging(BDM unit not included) • This unit can function as a HCS12 / 9S12 BDM or programmer via the BDM-out connector • On-board USB interface using FT232RL • On board program exit switch to terminate user program if system hangs • On-board 3.3V regulator • Resettable fuse for USB port protection • Quad-Digit, 7-segment display module • LED indicators for USB TX and RX • Color LED(RGB) • LCD display 16 x 2 module with LED backlight. • Matrix 4 X 4 keypad • Eight output LEDs • One 8-way DIP input switch • Four push-button switches • One Stepper motor • One DC motor • One Servo motor • IR detector • CAN controller • RS485 communication port with terminal block • On board buzzer/speaker • Analog input control via trimmer potentiometer • Interface header for 3 axis (accelerometer module not included) • Input headers for analog sensor • Auto start user programs after power on • On board dual DAC (10-bit) for generating analog waveforms • On board I2C based Real Time Clock DS1307 with a capacitor backup • I2C expansion port for interfacing external I2C devices • Temperature sensor • Light sensor • Logic probe with LED indicator • Double Pole Double Throw Relay • One DB9 serial connector • On board dual H-Bridge driver circuit for controlling DC motor/stepper motor • Outputs for 4 robotic servos • Terminal block ready for external servo voltage inputs • On board fast SPI expansion port • Comes with free AsmIDE assembler • System Pre-loaded with D-Bug12 firmware monitor for working with AsmIDE • Supports source level debugging in C and Assembler • Mode selector switch to select operating modes (with D-Bug12 monitor: EVB, Jump- to-EEPROM, BDM POD and Bootloader) • On board solderless prototyping breadboard • Memory card slot for MicroSD memory card(Memory card not included) • Capacitive touching switch
